Market background

Acting on heating and air-conditioning systems via the BMS enables substantial progress to be made towards the performance required by the tertiary sector decree, at costs 10 to 100 times lower. This is because the improved regulation made possible by data collection delivers substantial energy performance gains, and, as we have seen, of the same order of magnitude as those achieved by renovation work at a fraction of the cost.

But there are other benefits to equipping buildings digitally: hypervision (everything on a single screen), security, usage value, flex office optimization.

Our convictions

The Internet and associated technologies have created an ecosystem of solutions whose performance-to-cost ratio has been multiplied by 10,000. To date, the building industry has only partially taken advantage of these solutions. With so many solutions on offer, it’s difficult to make a choice.

We need to adopt an architect’s approach, starting from the needs of Asset Managers, Property Managers and Facility Managers, and take advantage of Internet technologies to meet their requirements, rather than improving on the solutions of the 1990s.

This makes it possible to take a holistic approach to buildings, combining security, energy efficiency and occupant well-being, unifying the vision of different systems and making them interoperable: video surveillance, access, heating, DHW, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, elevators, flex office, etc.

Our approach

We identify the challenges and needs of users: energy, use value, comfort, safety…

We conduct an in-depth analysis of the specific features of each building, to maximize the return on investment.

On this basis, we build an architecture, and select solutions from the market, based on a number of criteria: proven, open, interoperable, sustainable and secure. These are less expensive to purchase and maintain.

We then test the solutions to check that the expected performance is in line with the claims made in the suppliers’ commercial documentation.

Once the solution has been validated, we manage implementation at scale, with the necessary stakeholders.
